Snowmobile in for Dinner!

“Best Dining Experience in the Mammoth Area!”

“We have been talking about going to Rock Creek Lodge for dinner forever. We finally ventured out 2 weeks ago. My husband and I brought our back country skis and skied up to the Lodge ( 30 -45 minutes on wide open cat track) and our two guests took an exhilarating ride on a snowmobile to the Lodge. We were joined by 30 plus merry people celebrating a birthday. What a great experience. Beautiful and rustic setting. The food was served family style and was delicious. We brought in our own wine and beer but they offered a limited but nice and well-priced selection. We skied out and our friends took the snowmobile back in the dark. I would totally recommend this for an evening for the adventurous or good-spirited types. We all talked about how fun it would be to stay the night. Hopefully we will get to do that another time. We will definitely be back and bring our friends. Note, it is about a 20-30 minute drive outside of Mammoth Lakes. Make reservations and be on time or you will miss out on a memorable evening. This is an entire evening adventure so don’t expect to get in and out in an hour, enjoy the experience!!”

Plan a Summer Horseback Ride

A Ride You Don’t Want to Miss!

We had a very nice, leisurely ride down to Rainbow Falls from Reds Meadow Resort with Brooke as our able guide this morning. The falls are beautiful and the 1 hour trip there and back is good for beginning riders – our kids 7, 11, and 13 loved it.
